Creating a new digital government with Shibuya Ward? ~ Taking on the challenge of promoting digital transformation with an eye on the world ~

Shibuya Ward is a pioneer among Japanese local governments in implementing various digital transformation initiatives, including the expansion of online administrative procedures. Users of the city's services are diverse in terms of age, place of residence (domestic and international), language, gender, and physical and mental condition, and they also have a wide range of purposes and situations.
In order to realize the future vision that the ward has set out in its basic concept as "Shibuya Ward, a city that turns differences into strengths," it was an important mission for Shibuya Ward to create an owned media that all customers could use comfortably and without any inconvenience.
This time, we at Hakuhodo I-Studio, as a partner of Shibuya Ward, were in charge of developing a strategy for the owned media, which would be the first online point of contact for the client, and renewing the owned website. We will explain the process of realizing the value of this project in three areas.
In this third installment, we will introduce the process behind the introduction of HeadlessCMS, which solves the functional issues on the way to realizing Shibuya Ward's goal of "a government building that no one comes to," and the major aims hidden behind it.
